As we love walking, we retired early, to the picturesque Peak District. Brian loves taking photographs and is a member of Leek Photographic Club. We walked the Coast to Coast in 2008, our first long-distance path together. In 2009, we walked the West Highland Way. Both were heavily researched; so we felt we chose the best distances each day and places to stay. The buttons on the left take you through our daily blog and photos. Scotlands first official long distance path, stretching from Milngavie (just north of Glasgow) to Fort William, a distance of 95 miles. Brian and Carrie walked this in June 2009. This is our daily blog.
