As we love walking, we retired early, to the picturesque Peak District. Brian loves taking photographs and is a member of Leek Photographic Club. We walked the Coast to Coast in 2008, our first long-distance path together. In 2009, we walked the West Highland Way. Both were heavily researched; so we felt we chose the best distances each day and places to stay. The buttons on the left take you through our daily blog and photos. The buttons on the right are photos only. We hope you enjoy our website. Brian and Carrie |

Alfred Wainwright devised this long distance route from St Bees in Cumbria to Robin Hoods Bay in North Yorkshire, a distance of 190 miles. It has become one of the most popular long distance paths in the world. This is our daily blog. |
